Payment

Payment is due on the day of your session. I accept all major credit, debit cards, and HSA/FSA cards as forms of payment. Clients will be required to keep a card on file and the card will be billed on the day of the session.

I am not an Out-of-Network provider and do not accept insurance or provide superbills to prevent insurance companies from accessing your records, requiring unnecessary diagnoses for reimbursements.

Full payment is required for all group sessions, regardless of attendance.

Sliding Scale

I offer a limited number of sliding scale options. The sliding scale is based on income and agreed upon before our initial session.

Cancellation Policy

To cancel a scheduled therapy session, a minimum of 24-hours notice in advance of your session is required. If sessions are canceled with less than 24-hours, the full rate will be charged to the card on file.

Good Faith Estimate

The United States government now requires health care providers to inform individuals of their rights under the Public Health Service Act, Section 2799B-6, Good Faith Estimate (GFE).  This act is intended to end surprise medical bills, such as hidden fees, and extra services, for self-pay clients.  Although my pricing is straightforward and you are in control of the frequency, I am still required to educate you on your rights and provide you with a GFE.  This will be included in your intake paperwork.

From the United States government:

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost. Under the law, healthcare providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.

Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider and any other provider you choose for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.

If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.

Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
